Total Data Mobility: The vault, uses a patent-pending locator technology that eliminates reliance on IP addresses, port numbers and hostnames. Instead, the appliance uses the secure authentication key itself to identify and validate endpoints. This means that the vault and ALL endpoints can be located anywhere in the world with broadband access, and the system operates seamlessly without manual reconfiguration. Laptops and remote offices are fully backed up and as easily managed as a local server or static desktop.
